Greenhouse Project has a passion to see individuals and families recovered and restored. We do this by loving the least of all people in our community. Through a Biblical and holistic approach, we assist, coach, and lead people in recovery into freedom through one-on-one counseling and group meetings. We use the Bible and the twelve steps as a practical way to apply recovery principles — “seeking God to do what we cannot” (AA).

Free Recovery Counseling and Coaching

Armed with over 12 years of drug and alcohol treatment experience, John and the Greenhouse Project team actively seek and share personal life transformation stories to inspire people to take the next step into freedom. Over the last year, John shared over 250 hours of free recovery counseling and coaching to both those in addiction as well as support for loved ones of addicts.

Our team is also equipped to support families that have loved ones in addiction. Generally when someone is in an addiction lifestyle, everyone rallies around the addict; yet few people support those left behind. The addict usually hurts those who are closest to them; therefore, our team supports families through counseling, group meetings, and community events.

In 2018, Delaware County Pennsylvania had 590 reported drug overdose deaths. This equates to 35 people per month who are losing their lives to drug addiction. In Pennsylvania alone, 91 people die everyday to opioid related deaths. Our county, cities, and state are in a drug epidemic.

Our team has developed a strong network of support by partnering with local recovery centers and recovery houses throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Recovery Meetings

We offer a weekly Christ-centered meeting to anyone who struggles with addiction or spiritual strongholds.  

What can you expect? 

• To hear what God says in the Bible about sinful obsessions.

• Biblical studies and teaching on the subjects of honesty, humility, trust, surrender, acceptance and many more Biblical recovery principles that God wants us to learn and practice. 

• Testimonies from people who have been set free from their addictions. 

Please join us in person Monday nights from 7-8pm. 

Our meeting is a safe and confidential space to share challenges and successes with one another and is open to recovering addicts as well as those seeking recovery. We gather together each week to encourage, challenge and pray for one another – without condemnation.
