NEW: Residential Discipleship Program for Men

It wasn't far into my journey of committed recovery about fifteen years ago that the answer to this became 'mission critical.'

I was starting new friendships, repairing broken family ties, trying hard to stay close to mentors who paved the way to so much personal growth for me.

Those we live life with on the regular have great influence on positioning us... for failure or success!

This past fall, God made a way to acquire a home – the 7House – designed for men who have advanced from long term addiction treatment seeking to help build up other men in a transitional housing space, and equip them for a lifestyle of service to community and ministry.

Along with the 7House, the small non-profit operating this mission was donated to us with the belief that the individual impact and community work we are already doing not only aligns but can be strengthened under Greenhouse Project.

This new discipleship program has been stirring behind the scenes – now it's official!

Three men are enrolled in this nine- to- twelve month program led by your's truly that will train them up to serve God's kingdom in an environment much like spiritual parenting. The house has room for six residents – we are at 50% capacity.

Residents focus strongly on goal setting, accountability, individual gifts and more.

This is a unique opportunity for men coming from a place of committed sobriety, or even a schooling gap year or finishing Bible college.

Our heart is to apply the same Greenhouse others-centered values into this residential space where men grow in faith, learn about ministry, and actively serve in community projects – together with other men like them!

Current residents Dave, Kenneth, and Richie (pictured below) can be found serving at Sunday church fellowship, Monday recovery meeting, Discipleship groups, and outreach events.

Many years ago, my mentors – the men who really invested in me – saw something worth leaning into. Look at the profound ripple effect!

Today, I see the same potential for each of these men.

Will you pray for them, and the health of this new program?

Invite anyone who might be interested in enrolling to apply here!
